what does it mean to be free? sometimes even we dont know. but heres what we can say.

the kind that shows up when you’re tired of performing. when you don’t feel like smiling, but you still show up anyway. when you wear something that doesn’t make sense to anybody but you—and you feel powerful in it.


verse is a clothing brand for the becoming. for the in-between. the verse philosophy is that no matter what stage in life you are, you are constantly developing. no one person stays the same. even at what we may believe the height of our being is, there is still a desire and need for change. true power is being able to accept change while acknowledging who you were before. that’s when you achieve freedom, when you’re able to float on the in-between and remain grounded to your roots.


we make clothes that feel like process. like truth. like trying something new without having a reason. every piece is made from experience and conviction.

every stitch means something: small offshoots in the topstitch, color contrast, and even color placement. every fit is a feeling as well. some silhouettes say what words can’t, and connect in ways you can feel.


i don’t design to impress. i design to express what i am now, not what i’m supposed to be. if it frees me, maybe it frees someone else too.


sometimes i wish we could all be blind and just feel each other’s energy rather than seeing an image. that’s why i made the logo an eye. perspective is everything. because what you see isn’t always what’s true. my goal is to shift it through the clothes, the message, and the feeling behind them. to free people to see things their own way.
